Are you struggling to find information on the best way to potty train a puppy?
I certainly know I did which is why I put together this little blog. I wanted other puppy owners to benefit from my experience and hopefully save you some time and energy.
The one website that saved my sanity and probably all the carpets in my house is this one which you can find by clicking >>here<<
Before I found this website I spent ages looking for good quality information on house training puppies. I spent a small fortune buying magazines which included loads of great articles but none of them were specific to the best way to potty train a puppy.
So as you would expect I turned to the internet for help and advice. Little Harry now confined to one room in the house and whenever he came out I felt that I had to watch him like a hawk, it was awful.
My carpet in my dining room was ruined and even though I had spent a lot of money on cleaning products they just didn’t lift the stain.
Some of the articles I found on the internet were quite helpful and some were specifically about the best way to potty train a puppy. One was even titled how to potty train a puppy fast which was clearly what I needed. Even though these articles were helpful they never really gave me enough.
That’s what I like about the website I mentioned above because it really goes beyond just the potty training and explains why it’s happening and what you need to do in order to correct the behaviour. If you’re interested you can take a look >>here<<
Behaviour and house training puppies
One important thing to remember is that in order to stop your puppy making a mess in you house/flat/apartment you need to change their behaviour and you can only do this by investing time and energy into their development.
Start off by designating an area in your house that will be used by your puppy. Take your puppy to this area for 10 to 15 minutes each morning and the same again in the evening, after a nap and after playing. This will get your puppy into the habit of visiting this area at these important times of the day.
The best way to potty train a puppy
Is to give them lots of praise when they have behaved well and to firmly tell them in a sharp manner and with a deep voice “Bad Dog”, “No” when you are not happy with their behaviour.
I’ve learnt this and so much more from the website I mentioned above, you can find it by clicking >>here<<
It’s helped me and Harry a lot and I know it will help you too.
