Hey! My name is Rebecca and Harry is my beautiful little boy! When I got Harry it was amazing, having him around was just the best thing in the world but unfortunately when he started to mess all around the house I found myself looking for the best way to potty train a puppy.

That’s why I’ve put this blog together because I wanted others to learn from my experience and hopefully not make the same mistakes I did. I one thing I found when I was learning how to toilet train a puppy is that you need good quality information that has been tested and proven.
I spent ages wasting my time reading magazine and internet articles that weren’t very helpful at all.

Changing behaviour and why it’s important
Breaking the cycle of unwanted behaviour is probably one of the most important first steps and is going to require some investment in time from you.
You should assign an area of your house that can be used by your puppy to foul then each day take them to this area. Try 10 minutes in the morning and evening and after a feed or a nap. This will get them used to this pattern and to the area. This small change may seem almost too simple but it is little changes like this that will eventually lead to your puppy seeing this area as the area they are supposed to use when they go to the toilet as opposed to the rest of your house.
